EVA Shutdown dealy with sssu command line
Hello,
i have to write a script to shutdown the EVA Automatically in case our UPS sends a signal.
I write following script:
!
SELECT MANAGER localhost USERNAME=administrator PASSWORD=
SELECT SYSTEM "MyTinyEVA"
!
SHUTDOWN “\Hardware\Rack 1\Controller Enclosure 4\Controller A” ALL_PEERS
and i starting this file from the command view server with:
sssu.exe "file shutdown.txt"
Now i have one question and one problem.
1. ALL_PEERS means that i shutdown controller B as well. Is this right?
My problem ist that the Command View server has an LUN presented from the EVA so it should be shutdown before the EVA goes down.
How can i enter a shutdown delay in minutes?
I have Command View 7 and a EVA4000
Hope somebody can help me

Re: EVA Shutdown dealy with sssu command line
Great thats typical
as soon i post a question i maybe found a solution by myself.
!
SELECT MANAGER localhost USERNAME=administrator PASSWORD=
SELECT SYSTEM "MyTinyEVA"
!
SHUTDOWN â \Hardware\Rack 1\Controller Enclosure 4\Controller Aâ ALL_PEERS COMMAND_DELAY=120
is that a working solution?
is this shutting down both Controller and disables the Battery cache?
Sorry for the questions i just have a chance to test this script in ca 5 days and i will try to avoid as much problems as i could.
Thank you
