Re: AIO 1200r Storage Management Software - Discovery Failure
Exchange is not installed on the server. I did notice some errors in the logs relating to exchange but assumed that was because it wasn't installed and was part of the detection process.
The server has DPM 2007 installed on it which also installs a copy of SQL Server for its database. The SQL server instance is also not configured as an application within the ASM software.
If I go into the console and the configure credentials option the only Application that it lists is the SQL Server instance which has a credential status as 'Not Required'
I have been trying to configure the 'Replication' credentials via this method but it is not listed as an option.
(We have a second AIO 1200r which I had to go in and configure the replication credentials via this method)

Re: AIO 1200r Storage Management Software - Discovery Failure
I had similar problems with AIO400 and the solution was :
1. To download Service Release AIO 1.4.3 and
2. AIO 1.5
after installation this problem has gone.
Please, search in HP for your system.
Regards
Spiros
