Connecting HPE STOREONCE 5100 with HPE STOREEASY 1660

Hi 

i want connect HPE STOREONCE 5100 with HPE STOREEASY 1660 over FC and so we can configure storonce as local disks to save the backup data is it possible?

Hello @KhajaImaduddin,

If you are trying to make StoreOnce disks local to StoreEasy, that is not possible directly. Only through CIFS, it can be mounted in Windows

Current configuration is connected through FC ports over SAN switchs and configured StoreOnce gateways in Microfocus DPM.

if we remove the connection from SAN Switch for both Storeasy and Storonce and connect back to back FC will it not work? 

please advise.

I cannot promise you the configuration which you have asked for will work. If you want to change the configuration, kindly raise a support request with HPE and they should be able to assist you.
