hpkassvc.exe causing memory issue (hard faults / min)?

We have an X1600 Storage Server 2008 with 6GB of physical memory.

Every 15 mins the hpkassvc.exe process produces up to 28,000 hard faults / min. Once I end this process the faults dissapear but then later on re-appear again.

Has anybody else experienced this problem, or do you know what the service does?

I am having the same issue with hpkassvc.exe, but our hard faults are running up to 120,000+ at times.

Cause of this issue is still unknown. Any solution or workaround reduce by stopping service may Help in Windows. Search for this exe coming from and stop it from services.
