NAS RAID Monitoring
We check our RAID-based servers periodically for proper functioning of the RAID, instead of waiting for a drive failure alert. How do I check the health of the RAID on the NAS-1200s?
Thanks in advance!

Re: NAS RAID Monitoring
In the web gui go to HP utilities and there is a link for the HP system Management this will open up the usual HP system Manager device home page, log in and click on the storage- 5i card link and you can see all your diks etc there, all should be green ticks.

Re: NAS RAID Monitoring
Alf,
The 1200s is software RAID and does not have a Smart Array controller. Use Microsoft Disk Manager to check RAID status.
