NAS2000s and Antivirus Software
Which AV software would work on my NAS2000s running Windows 2003 Storage Server?
I tried Symantec Corp. Edt. 8.1 which didn't work and was told that it does support 2003 in general but not Storage Server Edt. in particular.
Which AV software did u install and worked fine?

Re: NAS2000s and Antivirus Software
Hello,
I use Trend Server Protect 5.6 on a HP NAS2000s running Windows 2003 Storage Server withour any problem, but note I also have a dedicated antivirus serveur wich is running the Trend OfficeScan for client and a Server Protect console for servers. Only agent is running on the NAS. Good product, fast and efficient. The installation has been done in last january.
Note that there is a special version called "ServerProtect for Storage" that I don't know anyway . I Just use the normal server protect on my NAS.
more informations here:

and here:

Hope it can help you to do a choice,
Eric Madeline.

Re: NAS2000s and Antivirus Software
I got symantec to work by installing from the CD. The packages it had created had a problem. CD installation worked fine.
Thanks
