Proliant storage server with iSCSI target option
Hello all,
Just a quick question about Proliant storage server. Is it true that iSCSI disk created on Proliant Storage server will be saved as a VHD file and not as a physical disk partition?? If yes, Can a physical partition be assigned to iSCSI pool?? Sorry for asking such a basic question. I have worked on MSA's but never on proliant storage servers.
Second question is about AiO1200r. Im unable to locate the iSCSI Target Option P/N from quick spec page. Reading the page hints me that its included by default with AiO 1200r. Is that true?

Re: Proliant storage server with iSCSI target option
For DL380 Storage server the following LTU is mentioned to enable ISCSI target functionality.
Microsoft iSCSI Target Software 1 LTU : T4433A
What is the equivalent for AiO 1200r?

Re: Proliant storage server with iSCSI target option
Yes, a ISCSI Disk is always a vhd File on a Windows file system.
and yes, the ISCSI target SW is already included in the AIO systmes - it is all in one....
