Hi,
I have a question regarding the timestamp for HPE StoreEasy 1670. If I migrate data from a different vendor's NAS storage to HPE StoreEasy 1670, will the data and files preserve their respective timestamps, or will they be renewed after the data migration?
Additionally, is there any documentation or discussion related to this that I can refer to?
Thank you!

SolutionHi Gautam,
A simple file transfer through SMB share does change the file creation date in destination server. You could create a simple test share accessible from storeeasy 1670 and test this behavior.
You may also consider using Windows Storage Migration Service. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/storage-migration-service/migrate-data
NOTE: The above-mentioned URL will take you to a non-HPE Website. HPE does not control and is not responsible for information outside the HPE Website
I am unable to find any HPE documents that could assist you with this.
Storeeasy 1670 is based on proliant server with Windows 2022 storage server operating system installed on it.
