Another compression problem with DAT72
Hello.
I have one Storeworks DAT 72. I try to make a backup of 50Gb of information but the copy finalize when data comes to 36Gb.
I try this in different operative systems with different backup software. Tests indicates that compression is enabled.
I attach the tests log file.
Thanks.
Please excuse my english.
Diego

Re: Another compression problem with DAT72
Diego, What kind of data are you trying to backup? If it already compressed you cannot compress it more. Make sure software compression is disabled. The drive is hardware compression enabled by default and it does a much better job thatn sofware.
