Autoloader 1/8 tape g2 LTO 7 - fails to load tape (load/unload loop)

Hello

I have a autoloader g2 LTO 7 that has started to fail to load/use tape. 

When I run a backup job og inventory in BackupExec the autoloader starts to load and unload tapes to drive. Seems to run in a loop loading unloading.

The autoloader has been working without problems for a year. Tried different tapes, tried LTO 6 tapes. Marked tapes as scratch media. Tried to reinstall software (backupExec). Autoloader connected by SAS. Backupexec backupjob says queued in status. I can start jobs from BackupExec so it seems to be able to send commands to the autoloader.

Tried to connect our old LTO 6 HP Ultrium - BackupExec runs with no problems.

When I try to use clean tape in autoloader - display states cleaning failed.

Any ideas? thanks

Hi

The tape leader may have come off or the drive may have snapped a tape.
