Colorado 5GB Tape Drive
Have a customer who had a Seagate drive that bit the dust. Someone removed it and never returned to reinstall it. We had an HP Coloradto 5GB drive and went and installed it. The Seagate software would not recognize the drive so I installed Colorado Backup II on Windows 98. The drive works great with the tape I supplied with the drive. The drive will not read her existing tapes and I can't initialize the tapes. It gives an error something like 'unsupported format'. Can these be reformatted to work? I can't seem to find how.

Re: Colorado 5GB Tape Drive
What kind of tapes are they? should say TR-4 tr-5 or something like that. My first guess is they are not 5GB tapes and therefore won't work

Re: Colorado 5GB Tape Drive
Yes, they are TR5 5GB tapes. Same tape that I supplied with the drive. They are HP tapes too.
