Compaq 8 Tape Autoloader 20/40

Hi, the autoloader is recognized as a TSL10000 Sequential drive and not an autoloader. I've tried new drivers, but Windows still will not recognize it as an autoloader. Has anyone ever had this problem ? SHould I upgrade the firmware ?

If anybody could help me out, I've been on this for ages... thanks a lot

you have to configurate the compaq library to RANDOM mode, it's in configuration settings of the library.
