Data Express and SQL Configuration page not visible

Running Data Protector Express on WServer 2003.
In appendix G of of the user manual (pg 280)it says to Configure the M$ SQL Server: in Catalog view select Network then the SQL Server then right-click the Server and display its property pages. (Now here's the problem) Select the Configuration command - I can see no Configuration command let alone the Microsft SQL Configuration Page.

How do you tell if the SQL module is actually installed?
