Data Protector 5.5
Our Data Protector 5.5 has trouble performing an Exchange mailbox backup for 1 user (out of about 210). We just keep getting a constant stream of 'erroneous item' messages, then a message telling us that the maximum number of messages has been written to the database, then dozens of messages telling us that 'the client operation failed' for this user's mailbox.
Is there any way to get more information - ie why is the item in the inbox invalid? I can attach to her mailbox and open these erroneous items with no problems. Could it be that she has a rather large folder structure in her Inbox (ie inbox\folder1\folder2\mailitem), so it would appear that the item is only invalid as far as DP is concerned, not Outlook.
