Data Protector: Trimming Log Files

We are using Data Protector Manager to manage our EVA-4000 data. Are the log files in the /var/opt/omni/server/log directory self trimming, or we need to trim them through shell scripts? If the files are self trimming, how can we find out when and how often they are trimmed? I could not find this information in the Data Protector Manager.
