dlt1 1280 slow restore time.
restoring data to our file server at about 7M/min. We are using Win 2k server. Arcserve 2000. I suspect some fine tuning issues somewhere. We have put the backup server on different switch port/cable. 100 Full Duplex has been verified on the server and switch. Any Ideas on what to try?

Re: dlt1 1280 slow restore time.
depending of your configuration, you can try some troubleshoot:
is your backup sloow too?
Do you restore just some files, or full system?
if your restore data localy do you have the same problem?
if no, troubleshoot the lan connection or the remote srver
if yes, use L&TT to check performance of your disk system, and of your Tape drive separately. there is two test called "system test" and "Device test" that will help you on this task
