DP 3.5 Express SP4 for Netware - Error 1002 while Restore

Hi,

On the Novell Netware 6.0 server with HP DAT72 SCSI we have installed DataProtector 3.5 SP4 26718 for Netware.
Everything works fine but...When I try restore data to another location I get error 1002 - DBEER_INVALID_CLASS. Restoring to the default location works OK. Where is the problem? I tried reinstall DP and create new media but I have still error.
Any idea? What means Error 1002?

thanks for reply.

Generally this error means teh Data Protector Express is unable to write to the location where you want to restore the files.

Does the user that is running the recovery job have the approriate rights to the file system?

Yes, user has rights.
But I can see that I can't use Move option for previous backup. I can't see any option for that backup set. Only displays when that was created, modified etc. When I check logs I see that was few failed object ( 3 from 1200 files of backup set). I can only mark this backup set and restore to the default location.

Re: DP 3.5 Express SP4 for Netware - Error 1002 while Restore

I'm sorry. I may be misunderstanding the problem. Have you been able to create the job to recover to a different location? From the screen shot you attached,
1. Move down through the tree to get to the file or folder you want to recover and then press F9 = More (for more options)
2. Press F2 = Commands to open the command window and select the "Move" command
3. Move down through the tree to select the destination and press F10 to select
4. Press F10 to save edits

Then run the job. Save the job log to a file and attach it to a reply here.
