Will this back work still after resuming this one to the usual rotation schedule?
Thanks again.

Re: Error 1401: Alert - Please insert compatible media
Drive D >>> ~1.8TB
Drive E >>> ~7.2TB
and the 8 tapes in the auto loader can accommodate only
up to ~6.4TB, we are acquiring additional 5 tapes with 800GB each.
Currently, the backup is progressing in Drive E (drive D is excluded)
in about 460MB/minute. This looks to be slow, is this throughput
normal via SCSI connection?
Please provide the steps or any settings/configurations I should
change in putting the newly acquired 5x800GB tapes after backing up
drive E is done in order to backup further drive D. Should I remove
all the 8x800GB tapes after the backup and insert the 5x800GB new
tapes and proceed with backing up drive D?
Basically drive E has data more than the capacity of the 8x800GB tapes
in the auto loader? What will happen to this?
Auto loader has only 8 available slots for tapes. How about the mail
slot feature, can I use this one in this purpose?
Really appreciate a favorable response.

Re: Error 1401: Alert - Please insert compatible media
About backing up all that information you can take 1 tape cartridge at a time using the mail slot option then dpe will grab all media evetually.
or call Tape Storage (on bussines hours for my team) we'll take care of everything.

Re: Error 1401: Alert - Please insert compatible media
The document is overwhelming.
Could you just provide me the number of your teams' "we take care of everything"?
I'd willing to provide remote access to this server for this matter.
Many thanks.
