Error Code 127 0x7f - Out of Disk Space

Hello

Suddenly I had the following problem:

Error Code 127 0x7f Out of Disk Space

When attempting to perform some kind of File I/O, the operating system returned an out of space error.

What does it mean?

My setting is:

Write mode: Overwrite all media

Certain information would be helpful, such as:
- Server model
- Operating system
- tape drive model, attach method, firmware level
- backup application being used, and version
- what operation was occurring when the error was generated (backup, restore, verify, etc.)

Of course, it might just be that the backup software logs are on a full partition.

Firmware, dont know

Data Protector Express 3.10-sp4

what operation was occurring when the error was generated (backup, restore, verify, etc.):
It shows the error after all operations I try to start. (Backup, Erase Media,...)

You mean a part (partition) of the harddisc is full ? no..

While trying to analyse the attached message, I remember that my workstation had a crash that evening. I dont remember if I've had to restart the server but I think so...
Anyways it might have something to do with that but unfortunately I dont get smarter by ready the message.

This is usually caused by exceeding the 2GB free space threshold on the hard
disk that Data Protector Express is installed on.

If you have another volume that has available disk space you can move the Data Protector Express catalog to that volume. Follow the instructions in the foillowing document:
