ESL9595 SDLT Tape Drive Question

Customer has an ESL9595 with SDLT 160/320 and SDLT 120/240 can a tape that has been written to in the SDLT 160/320 be read by the SDLT 120/240?

Any help on this would be great!!

Thanks

The 160 can read the smaller tapes but not vice versa

Re: ESL9595 SDLT Tape Drive Question

It may be possible to configure (via software) the SDLT 160/320 drives to write at the lower capacity so they can be read by an SDLT 110/220 drive.
The journey IS the reward.
