Fiber access via Bridge to SDLT
I have a K260 Veritas Master Server into which I have just installed an A3404A card. I am
attempting to use it to communicate to a STK 3100 Fiber-SCSI bridge in a STK L700, in order to get to a SDLT drive. When attempting
linkup the HP-UX 11.00 system
panics due to an address conflict. Evidently the A3404A
defaults to 0/0 0X0D7 which is
not available on the bridge. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on. All the drivers are installed per HP.

Re: Fiber access via Bridge to SDLT
Responding to my own query:
ReBuilt the kernel again,
re-initiated the 3100 Bridge.
ioscan -f yields:

Anyone attach SuperDLT1 to
HP-UX 11.00 yet? Any tips?

Re: Fiber access via Bridge to SDLT
Hi Noel,
I've no experience with these drives, but from
your posting the output does look correct.
I've attached a document for you in regards to
setting up a robotic device to drive your
library.
