File name Chars

Hi,

The IBM documentation for LTFS lists the following chars as not to be used ,

*  ?  < > " | \

I've encountered problems also with

{ }  and theires also some dot type char that caused a broblem but I can't find it on my keyboard to type it.

Were using the drive in an OSX enviroment archiveing video data, unfortunetly many people have the habit of typing dates in foldernames like "Take 3 xx/xx/xxxx".

Are their any ideas on a quick way to check or change directory names to be complient for the LTFS ?
