Having trouble recognizing tape in ArcServe 11.1
Specs:
Win 2K Server with SP4
HP SureStore DLT1 with firmware V024/OEM1
Adaptec 29160 SCSI card with latest firmware
The Computer Associates website state that I need firmware 3618 with that particular drive to run it properly. I cannot locate that firmware. I have tried to update to V050/OEM1 which is the latest firmware on HP website, but it always fails.(POST error?) The ArcServe program sees the drive, but not the tape(neither blank nor used). My coworker and I have spent almost a day on this. Any help would be appreciated.
