HELP!!!!! --- Tape Backup for Mac Systems

Have the HP Superstore DAT 24 (C1537A) tape backup and need to know if it can be installed on Mac systems. OS in use on server is Mac OS 7.6.1

It will work just fine but you will need some back up software that supports MAC. I suggest DANTZ Retrospect.

Thanks for the quick response...

However, one slight glitch!!!
Mac system will not allow for installation of software provided on the CD. Is there another place on the HP site to download appropriate drivers required for the Mac Server OS being used???

Sorry Karen, HP doesn't support any tape drives in MAC O?S, hence no drivers.

Which is why you need Retrospect. It will suply it's own drivers

What's the saying... never assume...!!!

Ran a test to retrieve files & were able to pick them up, no problem!!
Now the backup... crossing fingers!
