HP C1533A DDS
Vielen Dank!
Gruß, Wolf-Dieter Schellin

Re: HP C1533A DDS
I have installed the DDS2-Drive C1533A. My Computer works with Windows XPpro. The DDS2 is connected to an SCSI-Interface.
The HP-Diagnostic-Tool "HP Storgae Works..." has checked the drive and the inserted tape. Everything seems to work well. The tool has check the "writing an reading". Everything was O.K.
Now there is the following problem: When I like to ckeck the tape with the help of the explorer or if I try to use my Backup-Software, there is allways an "please insert a tape...". BUT the tape is allready inside the drive.
Would you please help me?

Re: HP C1533A DDS
I would try flashing the Drive(DDS2) firmware.
Then open your backup software and do a quick erase on the media. Now try to do a backup!

Re: HP C1533A DDS
