HP C1555 Tape Drive

I have recently acquired a Dat Drive and have purchased an Adaptec SCSI 2904 card. The card installation details state I should set the tape drive termination to ON or ENABLED, I cannot find how to do this in the tape drive installation manual which refers to using a Termination. Help, what do I do?

Do you have an internal drive or an external (in an enclosure) drive?

Neither drive type has built-in termination, so you need to provide termination externally.

If you have an internal drive, it has only one connector and you need to use a pass-through terminator, or a self-terminating cable (which has a terminator built-in on the end).

If you have an external drive, it has two connectors and you connect the HBA to one and place a terminator on the other.

I think the C1555 would be an internal drive. Here's the internal uses guide:
