HP Colorado Backup II V9.0 + WinXP did not run

My PC is running on WinXP

One and a half years I am working with HP Colorado Backup II V9.0 for backup data on Colorado 20GB intern Travan Streamer.

When I am now starting the Backup-Software I can mark the files for next backup-service, but when I want to start the backup-process the backup-software automatically finished (abort).
I just tried to delete the SW and new installation of the Backup-SW (with WinXP compatiblity-assistent for Win2000) but without any success.

Please help!!!

That version won't work in XP. Version 9.1 should work ok for internal tape drives. The native back up applet within XP will also work.
