HP Surestore DAT 24 & Win 2000

Can this be run on Win 2000 pro. If so where do I go to get the software upgrade. Thks for any info.

Hello Kelly,
it should work w/o problems. You can use NT backup to backup data to this device (or any other 3rd party software). If you want advanced diagnostics you can install HP Library and Tape Tools ( http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg50128.html ).

Thks for the reply Eugeny. I am somewhat of a novice so I need more advice. Do I load the software that I currently have for the device? Or do I download updates(I do have the tapedrive installed but thats all I have done.) I also downloaded and installed the Hp library and Tape tools. My goal is to get the software for this device functioning. Your reply is greatly appreciated.
