HP Surestore DAT8 Drive (external)
I have a hp surestore dat8 external Backup drive when I put the tape the orange lights on the front left panel blinks and do not detect any drive. The error messagge said:
"Tape Erase started on 6/14/04 at 2:23:37 PM.
Erasing.
Tape device reported an error on a request to write a file mark to tape.
Error reported:
Unrecognizable data."
I need help as soon as posible......
we are no making backups.....

I used pre-test of L&TT and the systems performance results was:
" Couldn't stat file C:\\urlcache\dir4\* - The system cannot find the path specified."
What can I do??
I need help as soon as posible......
we are no making backups.....
