HP SureStore DLT40 needs service
Hi, I'm using an old faithful external HP SureStore DLT40 on a Mac SCSI bus and suddenly it has stopped working, almost all leds in the front panel are lit, and when switching off and on nothing else happens. Seems like a hardware problem to me.
I was thinking about sending it to be checked and serviced somewhere but then.. on second thought... is there any point to have it fixed or should I order a new one? I have all my job archives on DLT tapes so DLT drive is the only chance.
And if I get a new drive, are there any models suitable for Mac and this time I'd like to have it for USB bus.
Thanks for help! :-) Cheers!

Re: HP SureStore DLT40 needs service
DLT 40 is way obsolete but there are a number of companies that repair them. Google "Tape Driver Repair". For USB options go here.
