Installation fails w/ Win2k
I had to switch the server location from one system w/ W95 to another one w/ W2k pro. The installation CD, "HP Colorado Backup II" fails with the error message "assist32.exe has generated errors...", followed by "Launch install assistant failed." This sounds Windows related and may be related to a previous install before I had properly installed the HP Colorado 8gb, external drive. The real question, should this software be installable to W2k and will it function as before with backup & restore features? It doesn't make sense to use the Windows Backup if it won't restore from an external drive.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Installation fails w/ Win2k
It's likely that your Win95 version of Colorado is not one that functions with W2K.
Although HP cannot officially distribute CB2 any longer, I am aware that it can be downloaded here:
http://www.rountree-inc.com/downloads.html
You will also need the driver package for W2K, that is available here:
