Installation Guide for HP Colorado T3000 Tape Drive

I'm looking for someone that might have a copy of the hardware installation guide for the HP Colorado T3000 Tape Drive. I have the drivers and software but need information regarding the hardware. Thanks, David

David, the t3000 was discontinued in 1998 so manuals might be a little scarce and if you have a newer computer, the floppy controller may not be fast enough. Depending your operating system it may not work at all. if you're on win 2k or XP, no go. what do you have and what are you trying to connect to?

I have an older PC that is running Windows 98 and was hoping it would work there. Its not my primary PC, just a backup PC that I'm using temporarily. Regards, David

I recommend you download and run iodetect.exe from this site. If your floppy controller speed cannot achieve 1Mb/sec transfer rate, the t3000 will not work without a floppy controller accelerator card.

Bottomline, I guess no one has an installation guide? I downloaded the Iomega exe file and will try it out just as soon as I can. Thanks, David
