Licensing issues with Data Protector Express 4
We bought/installed these licences:
Data Protector Express
Generic Disaster Recover Option
Generic Media Server Options
60 days have passed and now it's saying it's expired and backups don't run.
Does anyone have an idea what has expired?

Re: Licensing issues with Data Protector Express 4
When you install DPX SP1 without licenses it is fully functional for 60 days with the built in trial key. It activates all functions, even thos you don't need. When you buy licenses for specific functions nothing happens within the 60 day period but as soon as the "trial" period is over some built in trial functions do not have functional keys and therefore you get error messages. You need to deactivate the DPX services you don't need (I don't have access to DPX where I am right now so can't guide you any further). You could open a support case with HP. They can tell you which services you need to deactivate and how.

Re: Licensing issues with Data Protector Express 4
Hi Andrew even if you already install the license DPE would still run on evaluation for 60 day so go to Help > Licenses
you told us you have this 3
Data Protector Express
Generic Disaster Recover Option
Generic Media Server Options
however DPE should have 4, 1 of this is the evaluation, locate that license and delete it.
