Logical Drive Extensions
I have been scouring to find what Compaq Array Controllers perform this function.
I was looking for a matrix if at all possible. Does anyone has such information?
Many thanks,
Jason

Re: Logical Drive Extensions
Jason:
Not sure what exactly your looking for. Are you interested in know which HP Smart Array Controllers allow you to perform Logical Drive and/or Array Expansions?
Do you want to know about older cards or just newer cards?
Most, if not all newer cards support both Array and Logical Expansions. These cards, the 6 series.. 6402, 6404, 641, 642, 6i even the 5i, 5xx series all support it. Heck, I think it has been around since even the 4xx series and earlier. All the 6xx series definitely allow expansion though.
Now, if you are referring to something different, please do tell.
