LTO6 and Store 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader instalation

Hello, first thanks.

I'm going to install a autolloader, we as enterprice have the autoloader with a LTO6 and the 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader, the interface is SAS, i need help to select a PCI SAS card and the cable:

this are my options:

CABLE: Slim 4,0 8654 SFF-8654 8i 74pin a Dual 4i 38Pin Slimline SAS PCI-E

CARD: RAID LSI 9207-4i4e, SAS, SATA, HBA, 6Gbps, PCI-E, 3,0 P20, exp mode ZFS FreeNAS unRAID

for tha last, i wonder if is strictly needed a pay software to operate?, HPE recomends VEEAM, it's expensive, i think, there exists a free option?, HPE don't heve a software to operate it?

Please forgive my bad English, i'm still learning, hope to be clear nad thanks for read and help

I have another doubt, ii have the HPE StoreEver Compatibility matrix, the thing is, in this document, there is a list, with PCI'e SAS controllers, for work stations and servers, i wonder this is estrictly a rule or can use , for example, this LSI 9217-4i4e SAS 6Gb on my HPE ML350 Gen9, i am asking cz i already have the  LSI, but in the matrix is for a works stations

This is my equipment:

Only needs the cable, but i need to be sure if is compatible this SAS controller with my HPE Server, i need an answear for my boos, o tell him "we need to buy another cortroller SAS card"

If this controller is mentioned in the compatibility matrix. Then this will work. LSI 9217-4i4e SAS 6Gb is a part of the recommended controllers and it should work.
