MSL6000
I have two MSL6030 libraries, how do you make the original one the Master and Secondary on a Slave device? Thank you.

Re: MSL6000
You need to purchase the elevator (pass-through) kit which fits in the rear and moves tapes between units. This had a small connector for power. The configuration is then performed from the front panel. Just configure one as master and one as slave. The product number is 304825-B21. This connects the first 2 units together. You can then by extenders for further units. Fitting the kit is fairly straightforward. You have to remove the blanking panels, adjust the mechanism for length and bolt it in. Use the configuration screen to set master/slave. It does not matter which unit is master. There is also a small network switch and some RJ45 network cables to each MSL6030 'layer'. This is a small private network for the drive controllers. The management external 'customer' network does not connect to this. That still uses the normal network port. When all is installed the server should see one robototics lun and all the drives.
