MSL6030 problem with master slave

Hi
I have 2 MSL6030 build together, and they have been working fin for 1½ year, but now the MSL that is master can’t see slave, but VERITAS can see the taps in the slave, but can’t access them.
Does anyone know what the problem could be; we haven’t changed anything in the installations.
