ODBR with veritas backup exec 10
Hi.
I believe ODBR is compatible with veritas backup exec 10. Does anyone know if you have to get a special addon for backup exec 10 for the creation of this special Bootable tape ?

Re: ODBR with veritas backup exec 10
OBDR and not ODBR is a functionality that allow to boot from tape directly without any other bootable device.
and yes you need an additional component:

Re: ODBR with veritas backup exec 10
How is this ODBR exactly supposed to work ?
I come to the point where I can set my Ultrium 448 into DR mode, the server reboots to do a disaster recovery, and then ?
All I see is a flashing LED on the tape streamer, and no activity on the disks. There is no particular information displaying on screen.
Anyone have any experience with this ?
Regards,
Robert
