problem with backup on ML370
HI
I have Hewlett Packard DAT160 drive connect on my ML370 server.
I try to do a backup on tape, and I have a problem.when I try to backup something I have an error:
Require media missing
The current media is full and there is no more free media. Please add media or click Cancel to stop the backup operation.
when I work full backup I must replace existing backup on tape, but on half time backup break.
OS:server2003
What┬┤s wrong?
P.S. This thread has been moved from ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL) to Tape Backup (Small and Medium Business). - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: problem with backup on ML370
1. is there any excess of data define in backup strategy
2. maybe you should comress data
3. maybeyour software is trial and limited
Ibn this case you should by licence for full sw version
If this can help.
