Re: Problem with HP_LTT
Robert,
There is some helpful informationin the HP L&TT user Guide.
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/storageworks/techdoc/ltt/5969-5752.pdf
Here is the section that may help you.
Why doesn't L&TT for Linux "see" some of my devices?
To detect a surrogate SCSI device, you must configure the modules.conf file for
the new device you have connected. After modifying this file, reboot the computer
so that the new device is recognized by the scsi/sg layer. Linux does not support
hot swapping of SCSI devices. To reconfigure the modules.conf file:
1. Login as root.
2. Edit the following file:
vi /etc/modules.conf
3. Add the following line as appropriate:
add options scsi_mod max_scsi_luns=128
4. Reboot the computer.
and
How do I connect/disconnect a SCSI device in Linux without rebooting?
├в To add a new device, connect the device and run the following command:
echo "scsi add-single-device
" >/proc/scsi/scsi
├в To remove a device, run the following command and disconnect the device.
echo "scsi remove-single-device
" >/proc/scsi/

Re: Problem with HP_LTT
Thanks you for your answer
I have already read the document and applied the modification to the /etc/modules.conf
Have hp_ltt an option to select the device?
