read nt-backup tape using unix
hi
my nt server was down due to hw error. I've backup using dlt tape all my NT system.
Now i dont have any tape drive except running at unix server.
How can i list out all data from NT-tape backup using tape drive at unix. What command shld i use .. > cpio, tar ?

There is nothing in common between NT and Unix systems. The classic tar and cpio programs can be downloaded for the PC but if you did not use that program to backup your data, then the Unix system won't have any software to read the NT tapes. There is no standard for backup programs so unless you can find some program that runs on Unix that understands the NT program format, you'll need to get the NT box repaired.
You can be replaced by a small shell script...
