SDLT 110/220 density code problem. Advice required.

SDLT 110/220 density code problem. Advice required.

We currently use an SDLT 110/220GB drive for our backups since last summer. Last week a restore was required from our tape archive of on a DLT IV tape. Since running the restore from the SDLT drive, any tape that is in the drive now is only recognised with a DLT density code and is affecting backup speed and restores using an SDLT tape. Any suggestions anyone?
