Hi,
I had two lto-6 drives installed. Yesterday we extend library and add new two lto-7 drives.
Backup server not be found new lto-7 drives, device manager not detect drives too.
The library correctly detects new disks, the status display is - Good.
I updated the fimrware on drive and the software drivers the server.
Library :
- MSL4048 (Firmware 9.60)
Drives:
- LTO-6 (Firmware 25MW)
- LTO-7 (Firmware KAH1)
Connection:
Drives >> SAN-Switch >> Server (If directly connect new drives on the server, they will not be detect too)
Please help me.

Check if the zoning is adjusted (server - new drives).
Check the connection mode set for the drives in the library - point to point (fabric) for switch connections.
Check in the library menu if the drives have a link.
I have seen drives with swapped ports - port A is reported as port B and vice versa.
