Silicon Graphics IRIX and Surestore 12000e

Hello,
Does anyone know if this can be done? I am using IRIX 6.5.13 and I have a 12000e. The system recognizes the drive as a cartridge. I would like to find out if I can actually make this drive work for this OS. Thank you.
