StorageWorks DAT 72i
I've installed W2K Server on a Proliant ML350 with a 641 Smart Array with 2 Drives Mirrored. I cannot see the Tape drive. It is attached to the onboard scsi adapter. Tried everything, latest drivers, changed scsi id, changed from onboard scsi b to a, downloaded latest drivers for the tape drive. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Re: StorageWorks DAT 72i
They way your email reads - it sounds like you have recently upgraded to WIN2K.
Is this correct?
Have you updated to the latest service packs (SP4)?
If so - did the drive work before?
Are you using a actively terminated cable?
Does anything else work on the onboard controller?
Do you have a PCI card (preferably a ADAPTEC 29160LP) you could use?

Re: StorageWorks DAT 72i
Hi,
Check the following for isolation.
-Proper termination for internal tape drive.
-Bent pins (SCSI and Tape)
