Super DLT Media on a DLT Drive?

Super DLT Media on a DLT Drive?

We've have a Compaq 35/70 DLT Drive, if I put a super DLT tape in the drive will it do any

damage? or will it run as a regular DLT?

No, SDLT media is not compatible with DLT drives. Check this link:

Also note it will working going the other way with this media by putting a DLTIV tape into

an SDLT drive.
