support for backup software for an HP StorageWorks DAT72 USB Internal

buy a HP StorageWorks DAT72 Internal USB, installed Windows XP Professional and I need a software that manages the device and that Windows recognizes them as storage media and it does not assign a letter as such a unit to function as normal and common, I if someone could help with some known solutions to control this device for backup and restore information, Thanks!

Tape Drive should have come with Data Protector Express
