SureStore 12000e driver needed

I have been trying to get our 12000e to work with our new server (2.4GHz P4 1Gb RAM) but without success (or sleep!) According to the MS KB I need the latest version of 4mmdat.sys (or hpdat.sys) but I have been unable to locate either of these files. Can anyone send me a link (or the file itself)?

I assume I was supposed to get the W2k driver as there is no XP driver listed?

Anyway, having tried it, the problem still exists.

The MS KB article says the 'fixed' 4mmdat.sys driver should be dated 2000-10-11 or newer but the hpdat.sys in the W2k section is dated 1999-10-20.

Any ideas?

Then you may find this driver you're talking about on the Microsoft site. Is there a link to download it in that KB doc you mentioned?

the driver for XP, (i suppose you need this,) called 4mmdat.sys is already present in the XP installation disk, and is 11.6 kb, version5.1.2600.0 date is

The one from the XP installation disk does not work correctly. The prior dated driver apparently does not contain the bug that has crept into the driver supplied with XP.
