I see it in the device manager. But it is not where else to be found onmy computer. why does it not show in the my computer screen? I am using a scsi card that is inserted into my motherboard so when I getscsi bios not installed. Does that have something to do with why I can't see the tape drive

The tape drive does not get assigned a drive letter so you won't see it in My computer. If you see it in device manager it should be fine. What software are you trying to use?

I am trying to run windows backup. This is the only backup program I have.
