Surestore tape 5000

Could anyone please tell me what are the capacities for this unit?

Dear Eric,

The HP SureStore 5000 was a DDS-1 tape drive with data compression. It could take a 90m DDS-1 tape with native capacity of 2GB. We normally assume data compression to give a 2:1 increase in capacity unless the data being saved is highly random or pre-compressed.
